Westlake City Council Member Lori Ellis Peterson has announced her candidacy for re-election to the council.
Thunderstorms with high winds rolling through the area caused severe damage to Westlake High School. At 4:11 p.m., a 911 call was made after high winds damaged the Westlake High School football stadium and basketball gym.
