WESTLAKE-The Westlake Lady Rams started off the 2010 season with a 4-1 win over the Kaplan Lady Pirates on Monday in Westlake.

WESTLAKE-The Westlake Rams have an opportunity to move into a tie for fourth place in District 4-3A when they travel to take on the Eunice Bobcats.

WESTLAKE–The Westlake Lady Rams picked up their second District 4-3A victory on Friday with a 50-43 win over rival Iowa Lady Yellow Jackets.

LaDonna McKnight and Tami Chrisope, representing Banners, presented a slide show highlighting the events on the 2010 calendar to the Westlake Rotary Club on Thursday, January 14. Of particular interest are the Preservation Hall Jazz Band and Lili Cai. Cai will hold two dance workshops in April that area dance students can attend. There will also be a daytime special at the Civic Center for area school children.
