The annual Rabies Vaccination Clinics for Calcasieu Parish will be held on Saturday, April 25, 2009, from 1: to 4 p.m. Clinics will be at 17 locations throughout the parish.

Vaccinating and licensing your pet is required in order to be in compliance with State, Parish, and City Ordinances. All dogs and cats over the age of three months must be vaccinated and licensed.

The Calcasieu Parish Health Unit, Calcasieu Parish Veterinary Medical Association, and the Calcasieu Parish Animal Services and Adoption Center sponsor the annual clinics.

A reduced fee of $10 per animal will be charged for these one-time yearly clinics at the following Parish Clinics:
