On Wednesday morning, a crew was working hard in the sun converting the asphalt parking lot at the KC Hall to concrete.
Arthur Broussard was supervising the work being done by the crew. When asked why the area was being redone, he said, ”We’re redoing the parking lot area butting South Street where they had asphalt. Putting in concrete will be more cost efficient.”
It’s been a year the new facility has been open. It can be rented for events such as wedding receptions. Plans are to tear down the old building across the street and put in a new large parking lot.
