The Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 9854 in Vinton will be having a fundraiser on April 24, 2010. Mark your calendars. There will cash drawings, food, and entertainment. All money raised will be used to fund community projects, such as the their sponsorship of four year old burn victim Bowen Johnson, and other projects supporting the troops.
Tickets are $25 a piece and can be purchased from any VFW Post 9854 member. Each ticket is eligible for any of the five cash drawings and door prizes. Prizes include: $500 (grand prize), $200, and three drawings for $100 each. Door prizes will be drawn every fifteen minutes. All drawings will be held between 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. and you need not be present to win any of the cash prizes.
