“Pray without ceasing.”
I Thessalonians 5:17

It is very important that believers keep an open effort of communication with the Lord. this does not mean to be constantly uttering formal prayers. Rather, it implies recurring prayer on all sorts of occasions throughout the day. We must devote ourselves intensely to prayer and remain alert to the many things that would detour us from God’s will and purpose for our lives. the weakness of our human nature and Satan will attempt to cause us to neglect to pray or to distract our minds and thoughts while praying. We must discipline ourselves to achieve the prayer required for Christian victory.

To pray effectively, we must praise and adore God with thanksgiving to Him. Also sincere confession for know sins seeking forgiveness is essential to the prayer of faith. we are instructed by several scriptures to ask god for our needs. Prayer can be effective if it is made according to God’s will.

“If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear me: But verily God hath heard me; He hath attended to the voice of my prayer.”
Psalms 66:18-19

If we willfully participate in sin or refuse to repent from unrighteousness, we establish a hindrance to our prayers. We must keep God’s commandments “and do those that are pleasing in His sight.” (I John 3:22)

May we ever so live that our prayers will be heard and answered
