SULPHUR ó Senior Addy Tremie had a career night as the No. 6 Sulphur Lady Tors set a blistering pace in a 93-46 win over No. 27 Hammond Thursday night.

Tremie finished with a season-high 35 points and went 8 of 12 from 3-point range. She drilled five 3-pointers in the first quarter to help Sulphur build up a 28-10 lead.

Sulphur will host No. 11 Parkway (23-8), a 50-43 winner over No. 22 Fontainebleau (21-11), in the regional round Monday at 6 p.m.

Sulphur (28-5) put together its best offensive performance of the season. Forwards Raegan Ojoro (12) and Moe Patterson (11) combined for 23 points and senior guard Abby Wyatt scored 10 points.

Ojoro had eight rebounds, and Tremie grabbed seven.

Point guard Gabby Gunter had five steals, six assists and nine points.

Sulphur held Hammondís (18-11) leading scorer, Brandy Scott, to six points in the first half. Scott scored 12 points in the second half, but already had a 54-19 lead by halftime.

SHREVEPORT ó No. 30 Sam Houstonís season ended at the hands of No. 3 Captain Shreve Thursday evening for the third consecutive season.

Led by 21 points from junior forward Addison Martin, the Lady Gators (21-4) rolled to a 47-11 halftime lead and beat the Lady Broncos 86-41.

Captain Shreve, the two-time defending Class 5A state champion, beat Sam Houston in the quarterfinals the previous two seasons.

Martin scored eight points in the first quarter. Sophomore forward Desiree Hudson scored 16 points, and Jalia Redd finished with 11.

Allie Conner led Sam Houston (17-13) with 12 points, and Lucy Bellon added 11. Alania Bartie scored eight points, and Bonni Williams finished with seven.

Class 3A

Westlake 60

Crowley   40

WESTLAKE ó No. 6 Westlake advanced to the Class 3A regional round after a 60-40 win over No. 27 Crowley Thursday night.

After the first quarter ended in a 12-12 tie, Westlake (20-8) started to pull away. Destiny Peltier scored 18 of her game-high 23 points over the next two quarters to give the Lady Rams a 44-29 lead.

Senior Jada Gasaway scored 19 points.

Peltier just missed a double-double with nine steals, and Gasaway had eight assists.

Crowleyís (14-12) Myraneika Latropes scored 21 points, including 11 in the fourth quarter, and Imani Jackson finished with 12 points.

Westlake will host No. 11 Caldwell Parish (26-8), a 57-34 winner over Jewel Sumner (11-13), in the regional round Monday at 6 p.m.
