Yvonne Marie Daigle Begeron, 88, died at 5 p.m. Monday, January 5, 2009, in a local care facility.
She was a native of Sulphur and attended Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church. She was a member of the Catholic Daughters Court 1255, a past member of the Ladies Altar Society and a member of the American Legion Auxillary unit 179.
Survivors include her sons John Ray Bergeron and his wife Deanna Lyons Bergeron of Sulphur and Michael Duane Bergeron of Sulphur; sister Eta Bergeron and her husband Melvern Bergeron; grandchildren Gregory Gerod Bergeron of Dallas, TX, Candace Ann Bergeron Spinney of Lewisville, TX, Julie Marie Bergstedt Donovan of Carrollton, TX, and Edward Ernest Bergstedt of Kansas City, MO; and nine great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Paul Bergeron and daughter Lana Marie Bergeron.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in her name to the charity of your choice.
Her funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, January 8, 2009, in Hixson-Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home. The Rev. Joseph Gosselin will officiate. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery in Sulphur. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Wednesday with a rosary at 7 p.m. and from 8 a.m. until 10 a.m. Thursday. Words of comfort may be shared with the family at www.mem.com.
