Delores Marie Richard, 67, passed away Saturday, August 23, 2008, in a local hospital.
She was a Lay Carmelite Member and also a member of the Red Hat Society.
Survivors include her husband, Ronald Richard of Sulphur; one son, Chad Richard and wife Jacqueline of Sulphur; three sisters, Doris Neal of Pioneer, LA, Agnes Sanchez and husband Perry of Rayne, LA, and Mary Odell and husband Chance of Austin, TX; one brother, Butch Comeaux and wife Dolley of Crowley; five grandchildren, Allie, Brandon, Joseph, Zoe and Alexander and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Fernand "Brother" Comeaux and Pearl Dore'.
Her funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday, August 26, at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday and from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday with a rosary recited at 10 a.m. Words of comfort may be shared with the family at www.mem.com.
