Jeanette Marie Perreault LeBlanc, 83, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 31, 2008, in High Hope Care Center.
A native of Sanford, Maine, Mrs. LeBlanc had been a resident of Sulphur for over 60 years and was a member of Our Lady of LaSalette Catholic Church. A wonderful mother, she enjoyed taking care of her family, sewing, reading, and oil painting.
She is survived by two daughters, Jessie Ann Cormier and husband, Leonard of Lafayette, and Jeanne Broussard and husband, James Ed of Sulphur; her sister, Marlene Burket of Sanford, Maine; six grandchildren, Jeremy Breaux, Lance Cormier, April Broughton, Jenna Mistric, Brady Broussard, and Ben Broussard; and four great-grandchildren, Grant Broughton, Luke Cormier, Jacques Cormier and JoLeigh Mistric. She is preceded in death by her husband, John C. LeBlanc; and her 10 siblings, Aurora, Alice, Napoleon, Oliver, Joseph, Gideon, Phillip, and Alex Perreault, Germaine Gosse, and Marie Rose Randlett.
The family would like to thank the caregivers at High Hope Care Center for the loving care they gave Mrs. LeBlanc during the years she resided there.
Her funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday, January 2, in Hixson-Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home. Deacon Johnny Mounce will officiate. Burial will be in Mimosa Pines Cemetery South in Carlyss.
