HAMMOND, La (AP) -

A movie crew will be shooting a science fiction/paranormal thriller in Hammond for the next two weeks.
After Dark pictures is making ‘‘Seconds Apart,’’ starring Orlando Jones and others.
Emily McKneely, director of sales at the Tangipahoa Convention and Visitors Bureau, says plans were made final last week.
The film is set in Louisiana and is about twin 18-year-old boys with supernatural powers.
McKneely says crews have been building sets for the past two weeks in an old Schwegmann’s building. They’ll also be shooting in downtown Hammond and at the Schaffer House in Ponchatoula.
After Hammond, scenes will be shot in New Orleans.
