Sulphur Police Report: 11 arrested from Jan. 13-16

Officers issue 50 traffic citations

The Sulphur Police Department reports that from January 13 to 16, 2012 officers of the department investigated five traffic accidents reporting no injuries and issued 50 traffic citations.
Officers also responded to several other incidents resulting in 11 arrests.
Kristen Denise Johnston, 29, of Ellis Street, Lake Charles was arrested and booked into the Sulphur City Jail for theft of goods.
Sherman Batiste, 53, of South Market Street, Jennings was arrested and booked into the Sulphur City Jail for disturbing the peace by public intoxication, theft of goods, resisting arrests, outstanding bench warrants and two counts of contempt of court.
Cody James Miller, 19, of East Napoleon Street, Sulphur was arrested and booked into the Sulphur City Jail for simple possession of marijuana.
Gage Cruz Cantu, 18, of Henning Drive, Sulphur was arrested and booked into the Sulphur City Jail for failure to use turn signal and simple possession of marijuana.
David Stanton Head, 47, of Tom Hebert Road, Lake Charles was arrested and booked into the Sulphur City Jail for disturbing the peace.
William Jones, 38, of McArthur Street, Sulphur was arrested and booked into the Sulphur City Jail for domestic abuse battery. William’s bond was set at $10,000 per Judge David Ritchie.
Jimmy Ray Ledet, 38, of McArthur Drive, Sulphur was arrested and booked into the Sulphur City Jail for peeping tom and simple criminal damage to property.
Garrett Paul Trahan, 25, of Ramoin Street, Sulphur was arrested and booked into the Sulphur City Jail for violation of protection order. Trahan’s bond was set at $250,000 per Judge David Ritchie.
Anthony Lynn Carroll, 20, of North Johnson Street, Sulphur was arrested and booked into the Sulphur City Jail for domestic abuse battery. Carroll’s bond was set at $10,000 per Judge David Ritchie.
Johanna P. Chaisson, 42, of Urban Street, Sulphur was arrested and booked into the Sulphur City Jail for theft of goods.
Stephen Richard, 53, of North Claiborne Street, Sulphur was arrested and booked into the Sulphur City Jail for disturbing the peace, resisting arrests, an outstanding bench warrant and contempt of court.
