In order to help relief efforts in Haiti, Vinton's VFW Post 9854 donated $250, the American Legion Post 208 donated $250, and the American Legion Post 208 Ladies Auxiliary donated $300. They issue a challenge to all area organizations to donate as soon as possible to the cause.
