Voters who missed the League of WoMen Voters forum for Sulphur Mayor and City Council District 3 candidate will have an opportunity to view it on the government channels 5 in Lake Charles and Sulphur; 61 in DeQuincy, Moss Bluff, Vinton and Westlake; and channel 99 in Carlyss and Grand Lake at 3 a.m. and 9 a.m. and at 3 p.m. and 9 p.m. now through Thursday, March 18, 2010 and learn the candidates’ position on some of those controversial issues facing Sulphur residents.
The League of WoMen Voters believes that “transparency in government” together with an “informed citizenry” is the key to good government. Please take advantage of early voting Saturday, March 13, 2010 through March 20, 2010 and cast an “informed vote.”
