The Henning Cultural Center is proud to announce its newest exhibit, featuring some great artists from Sulphur! The exhibit shows off the work of five very talented artists from a small neighborhood in west Sulphur. Each artist has focused on a different type of art, including paintings, sketches, sculptures, quilts, and photographs. The artists involved are Maggie Nelson, Karen Buller, Johnny Thomas, Ken Stine, and Connie Miller.
The exhibit will be on display from July 9 until August 6 at the Henning Cultural Center in Sulphur. The public is invited to attend an opening reception for the exhibit on July 9, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Light refreshments will be provided.
The Henning Cultural Center is open Monday through Friday, from 10 a.m. until Noon, and then from 1 p.m. until 5 p.m., and then on Saturdays from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. The Center is located at 923 Ruth Street in Sulphur. For more information about this exhibit, please call 337-527-0357.
