The fundraiser, a satire of local newsmakers and the media, is set for Saturday, July 25, in the Lake Charles Civic Center’s Sudduth Coliseum. Proceeds from the show will benefit students at McNeese State University through the club’s permanent scholarship foundation and provide funds to the Commercial Arts Department at Sowela Technical Community College. The Ad & Press Club is Southwest Louisiana’s oldest organization for communications professionals. The show is written, staged and performed entirely by club members.
