Question: Is organic baby food better than regular baby food?
Answer: Ultimately, it’s a matter of personal opinion. Some parents are particularly concerned about the use of pesticides and other potential contaminants in food today. Using organic baby food can limit your baby’s exposure to these substances. But, if you are considering choosing organic baby food, you should know that the American Academy of Pediatrics says organic foods are no safer or more nutritious than other foods. Also, organic baby food can be considerably more expensive than traditional baby food.
The most important thing concerning a baby’s diet is that it is balanced. Offering your child healthy foods from the beginning, whether they are organic or not, will set the stage for a lifetime of healthy eating.

Question: Can a person be too old for strength training?
Answer: You’re never too old for strength training. Strength training provides significant benefits to older adults in their 80s and 90s. These benefits include improved quality of life as well as improved walking speed and improved ability to perform daily tasks, such as getting out of a chair. There are many different tools for strength training, including machines, tubing, water aerobics and even your own body weight. Regardless of the tool you choose, proper technique is key for preventing injury and getting the most from your workout at any age. Check with your doctor or a fitness trainer to determine the optimal strength-training program for your specific goals and needs. Tressie Bares, Exercise Specialist, Dynamic Dimensions of WCCH
