Sulphur Police Chief Lewis Coats reported Monday that a traffic stop last week led to the arrest of 17 people on drug charges.

Coats told the Daily News that Ronalda Guillory, 33, of E. Burton St., was pulled over on the night of Monday, Sept. 17 for a traffic violation. A search of her vehicle led to the discovery of three ounces of what was later determined to be methamphetamine. Information obtained as a result of that investigation led the SPD to execute a no-knock warrant on a residence at 610 Evans Road in Sulphur, at around 1:15 a.m. the next morning.

Upon entering the residence SPD officers located 16 people, many of whom had tried to hide in cabinets and closets. Officers also discovered more methamphetamine, marijuana, drug paraphernalia, and counterfeit money.

Officers recovered a total of four ounces methamphetamine, with a street value of approximately $6,000, from the traffic stop and the search of the Evans Road residence.

Two of the individuals in the residence were found to have active felony arrest warrants.

Ronalda Rufia Guillory, 33, of East Burton St., was arrested for possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana, possession of a Schedule II CDS, and keeping a disorderly place. Judge Sharon Wilson set a bond of $4,000.

Taurel Dwayne McMichael, 58, of Evans Road, was arrested for possession of a Schedule II CDS, monetary instrument abuse, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and keeping a disorderly place. Bond was set at $5,500.

Joseph Cuwayde Semien, 25, of East Burton St., was arrested for possession of a Schedule II CDS, possession of drug paraphernalia, and keeping a disorderly place. Bond was set at $3,500.

Kimberly Diane McMillian, 54, of Mike Drive in Ragley, was arrested for possession of a Schedule II CDS, monetary instrument abuse, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and keeping a disorderly place. Bond was set at $5,500.

Harold LinnMiller, 46, Evans Road, was arrested for possession of a Schedule II CDS, monetary instrument abuse, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and keeping a disorderly place. Bond was set at $5,500.

Christine White Bruney, 48, of Gross Road, was arrested for possession of a Schedule II CDS, possession of drug paraphernalia, and keeping a disorderly place. Bond was set at $3,500.

David Lee Braxton Jr., 35, of Fowler Drive, was arrested for possession of a Schedule II CDS, possession of drug paraphernalia, and keeping a disorderly place. Bond was set at $3,500.

Ronnie Garcia, 55, of Goss Road in Westlake, was arrested for possession of a Schedule II CDS, possession of drug paraphernalia, and keeping a disorderly place. Bond was set at $3,500. Garcia also had an outstanding felony arrest warrant through the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office for theft and a misdemeanor warrant through probation and parole.

Allysia Nicole Lee, 17, of River Road in Lake Charles, was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia, and keeping a disorderly place. Lee was also served with an outstanding felony warrant through the SPD for distribution of MDA, a Schedule I CDS, and distribution of cocaine, a Schedule II CDS. Bond was set at $15,000.

David St. Germaine, 53, of North Crocker St., was placed under arrest for resisting an officer and keeping a disorderly place. No bond was set.

Robert Gregory Magee, 51, of Evans Road, was placed under arrest for resisting an officer and keeping a disorderly place. No bond was set.

Ashlyn Fuller, 17, of River Road in Lake Charles, was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia and keeping a disorderly place. No bond was set.

Jenna Rae Veillon, 19, of South Thompson Ave., in Iowa, was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia, resisting an officer, and keeping a disorderly place. No bond was set.

Etienne Joseph Carlton, 33, of LeBlanc St., was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia and keeping a disorderly place. No bond was set.

Krystal Darbonne, 18, of Corbello Road, in Lake Charles, was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia and keeping a disorderly place. No bond was set.

Justin Bertrand, 18, of LeBlanc St., was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia and keeping a disorderly place. No bond was set.

Robert Neumann, 20, of Wedgewood St., in Lake Charles, was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia and keeping a disorderly place. No bond was set.
