On Wednesday, August 18, the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office responded to the burglary and theft of a Playstation 3 and a set of four mag wheels with tires from a mobile home in Lake Charles. During the investigation, the detective received information regarding the suspect and a description of the car from a witness.
On Monday, August 30, further investigation led the detective to obtain a warrant for the arrest of George Slan, III, 4254 5th Ave., # B-331, Lake Charles. Slan was arrested and booked into the Calcasieu Correctional Center and charged with burglary and theft over $500.
The Playstation 3 has been recovered and will be returned to the owner.
Judge Robert Wyatt set his bond at $7,500.
