Around 4 p.m. March 3, a detective with the Combined Anti-Drug Task Force (C. A. T. Team) conducted a traffic stop on Interstate 10 near mile marker 6 in Vinton for a traffic violation. The detective asked to search the car and found approximately three ounces of powder cocaine in the car.
The driver, Fergus A. Bushnell, 31, Lena Ave., and the passenger Davin D. Guillory, 38, N. Lincoln St., both of Lake Charles, were arrested and booked into the Calcasieu Correctional Center and charged with possession with intent to distribute cocaine and possession of drug paraphernalia.  Bushnell was also charged with no driver’s license and following too close.
Judge Ron Ware set Bushnell’s bond at $11,000.  Judge Robert Wyatt set Guillory’s bond at $11,000.
