Sulphur Police Chief Chris Abrahams reported that from March 3 to March 4, 2010, officers of the Sulphur Police Department investigated five traffic accidents reporting no injuries and issued five traffic citations.
Officers also responded to several other incidents resulting in nine arrests.
Major arrests include:
Christopher Allen Vincent, 22, of Leon Cole Road, Westlake was arrested and booked into the Sulphur City Jail for two counts of aggravated rape. Vincent’s bond was set at $100,000 per Judge Robert Wyatt.
Loraine Sue Taylor, 30, of Patton Street, Sulphur was arrested and booked into the Sulphur City Jail for simple possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, use of CDS in the presence of a minor, possession with the intent to distribute CDS schedule IV type drugs, and for outstanding warrants for possession with the intent to distribute CDS schedule IV type drugs and use of CDS in the presence of a minor. Taylor’s bond was set at $13,500 per Judge Robert Wyatt.
Stacy Dawn Deshotel, 37, of Walker Road, Sulphur was arrested and booked into the Sulphur City Jail for theft of goods, simple possession of marijuana and possession with the intent to distribute CDS schedule IV type drugs. Deshotel’s bond was set at $2,500 per Judge Charlie Schrumpf.
Noah Lee Courville, 25, of Trailer Street, Sulphur was arrested and booked into the Sulphur City Jail for simple possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, use of CDS in the presence of a minor and possession with the intent to distribute CDS schedule IV type drugs. Courville’s bond was set at $6000 per Judge Robert Wyatt.
Billie Jean Taylor, 26, of Trailer Street, Sulphur was arrested and booked into the Sulphur City Jail for simple possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, use of CDS in the presence of a minor, possession with the intent to distribute CDS schedule IV type drugs, possession with the intent to distribute marijuana and for outstanding warrants for use of CDS in the presence of a minor, possession with the intent to distribute marijuana, distribution of CDS schedule IV type drugs and use of CDS in the presence of a minor. Taylor’s bond was set at $23,000 per Judge Wilfred Carter.
Michael Brandon Cooley, 31, of Trailer Street, Sulphur was arrested and booked into the Sulphur City Jail for simple possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, use of CDS in the presence of a minor, possession with the intent to distribute CDS schedule IV type drugs, and for outstanding warrants for distribution of marijuana and use of CDS in the presence of a minor. Cooley’s bond was set at $13,500 per Judge Wilfred Carter.
