On February 1, the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office received a complaint from a woman stating she had used her debit card at a fast food restaurant in Moss Bluff then sometime later realized her card was missing.
The investigation revealed her card was used to pay on a cell phone account in the name of Desmond L. Guillory, 18, 1801 Opelousas St., Apt. B, Lake Charles. Further investigation revealed Guillory’s roommate, Deandre T. Clark, 20, was an employee of the fast food restaurant and was working the day the victim last used her card. There were a total of three charges made on the debit card to pay on Guillory’s cell phone account.
On March 3, Guillory and Clark were both arrested and booked into the Calcasieu Correctional Center and charged with three counts of unauthorized use of an access card.
Judge Robert Wyatt set their bonds at $3,500 each.
