As part of the Sempra Employee Giving Network – Louisiana Council, Cameron LNG employees recently designated contributions totaling $750 to KIDS Can of Southwest Louisiana.
Kids Can of Southwest Louisiana is committed to coordinate and develop efficient resources and partnerships in order to provide for the total well-being of all children and families in Southwest Louisiana.
According to Kids Count, Louisiana still ranks 49th in the well-being of children. KIDS Can works to connect business and industry with community leadership to educate them on the status of kids and begin to solve the problem through education and involvement in decision making as it relates to children.
“The employees of Cameron LNG are proud to support KIDS Can and their efforts to provide a solution to children’s issues in our community,” said Melissa Portie, Cameron LNG Human Resources and Community Relations manager. “We want kids in our community to know they can count on us.”
