Family Foundation of Southwest Louisiana (Family Foundation) was presented with a $100,000 donation from the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office in support of the Children’s Advocacy Center. Proceeds were donated through the Family Foundation Capital Campaign, which is raising funds to expand Family & Youth’s current facilities for the Children’s Advocacy Center.

The donation will provide vital services to children who are seen at the Children’s Advocacy Center (CAC). The CAC is a child friendly facility where victims of abuse and/or neglect can tell their story in a safe and comfortable environment.

Family Foundation of Southwest Louisiana is committed to meeting the needs of families in Southwest Louisiana. Therefore, as our community grows, so must Family & Youth. The Family Foundation Capital Campaign’s purpose is to provide funding for a building expansion, which will ensure that Family & Youth’s division will have the resources and capabilities to welcome and serve anyone who needs our help in our community.

Family Foundation of Southwest Louisiana serves as the endowment and philanthropic arm of Family & Youth, connecting donors to the priorities that enhance the quality of family and community life for generations to come.
