According to Holly Carter, spokesperson for the Calcasieu Parish District Attorney's Office, on Friday, November 6, Judge David Ritchie sentenced William Chester Farry, 30, of Lake Charles, to life in prison with the Louisiana Department of Corrections. The sentence will be served without the benefit of probation, parole or suspension of sentence.

A Moss Bluff man has been sentenced to 18 years in prison in connection to the death of a Texas man in 2014 car crash. The sentence was handed down on November 4.
