Moss Bluff resident, Taylor Teague, was selected for the 2010 Drum Corp International, Blue Knights Division out of Denver, Colorado. More than 8000 students try out for this highest level of honor. Taylor will travel all over the United States this summer with the Blue Knights to perform.
Taylor is currently student at McNeese State University where he is a member of the MSU marching Band. He graduated from Sam Houston High School in 2008 where he served on the drum-line and still continues to provide help with the drum-line. Taylor began playing the drums under the direction of Leo Murray at Moss Bluff Middle School in sixth grade in 2001. He is the first student from Moss Bluff to receive this honor to Murray’s recollection.
