The Sam Houston Lady Broncos continue to roll through District 4-4A after a 10-0 win over DeRidder at home on Tuesday.
The Lady Broncos (19-4) started off slow but finally got on the board in the third inning with four runs on three hits.
Sam Houston’s Brandi Reed ended the game in the bottom of the sixth with no outs on an RBI double to left field to score Pam Wainwright to invoke the 10-run mercy rule.
Reed went 1-for-3 with three RBIs and Taylor Wood went 2-for-3 with three RBIs.
Brianna Granger picked up the win for Sam Houston allowing just two hits and striking out nine.
The Lady Broncos will travel to Eunice on Thursday.
