The Open Door Church
Evangelist and country gospel singer Steve White will be back by popular demand at The Open Door Church located at 423 West Burton in Sulphur for three days only, August 25, 26 and 27 for a 3 day revival. Services begin each night at 7 p.m. Come enjoy his unique style of spreading the Good News of Jesus Christ.

Westminster Presbyterian Church
On Saturday, August 23, a 90th birthday party will be held for Betty Greenwood from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. in Westminster's Fellowship Hall. Betty is a Charter member of Westminster Presbyterian Church. All of Betty's friends are invited to help her celebrate. On Sunday, Pastor Erich Mansell will bring the message of Worship and Praise at 11a.m. A new Bible Study for all High School Youth will have their first class Sunday afternoon at 3 p.m. Amanda Thorne will teach the class. All high school aged youth are invited. On Sunday evening, a Family Fellowship Supper will start at 6 p.m. The program will be by the Youth sharing their experiences from Camp Agape. This will include a picture slideshow as well as some talent show material. The church is located at 301 Center Circle Ave.

Henning Memorial United Methodist Church
Everyone is invited to join in the worship services, 8 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. The new Sunday school for kids has just begun. The theme is ‘SUNDAY SCHOOL IS ROCK SOLID!’ Come and learn about Jesus’ love for you and become ROCK SOLID. Children will enjoy a music time, bible village with interactive bible story and games.  On Sunday, August 24, LifeShare Blood Centers will be at Henning from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. For more information, please call the office at 527-5483.

Olivet Baptist Church
Everyone is invited to the Camp Meeting Summer of Revival for Morning Service and each Sunday morning through August 31. The theme for this revival is entitled “Encounters with Jesus.” Several ministers from the surrounding area will be preaching each Sunday morning service. The remaining dates are as follows: August 24 - Alan Weishampel, August 31 - TBA.

First Baptist Church of Sulphur
Awana will kick off on Wednesday, September 3, at 5 p.m. for all kids three years to 5th grade. TREK for 6th, 7th and 8th graders will begin also on Wednesday, September 3. Recreation and Praise Band included. The church is located at 401 S. Huntington Street. Call 527-5231 for information. Sunday school begins at 9 a.m. with 10:30 a.m. and 6 p.m. worship services.
