Three Event Highlights
1. The annual Christmas Under The Oaks Festival is back again with one of the biggest holiday festivals in the area and as always 100 percent of snow is forecast for the event. The festival begins on Friday evening at The Grove at Heritage Square with the arrival of Santa Claus and continues on Saturday with a full line up of fun things to do.
2. Once Santa arrives on Friday, feel free to visit the live nativity and listen to the bands at The Grove at 7 p.m. And don’t miss the lighting of the Christmas tree at 8 p.m.
3. On Saturday the music cranks up at 12 noon and continues until 8:30 p.m. Heritage Square will be filled with food booths, a carnival, dance groups, and more.
The live nativity begins at 6 p.m. on Saturday and at 7:30 p.m. heavy snow is forecast for the area.
If You Decide to Go
When: Frday and Saturday, December 1-2. Friday hours are from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. and Saturday hours are 12 noon until 9 p.m.
Where: The Grove at Heritage Square located at 1211 Ruth Street in Sulphur; as well as the Brimstone Museum Complex.
