On Wednesday, Nancy Tower with Sasol presented a check for $5,000 to Thom Trahan, Executive Director at Brimstone Museum/Henning Cultural Center. The check is the third installment in a three year commitment by Sasol to help fund the static Sulphur History display, which will include an "industry history" section. Although the economic climate has resulted in significant budget cuts for Sasol, the company felt that it was important to fulfill its commitment and help the Brimstone Historical Society take another step toward properly displaying this area's history. Pictured with Tower and Trahan are Randy Broussard (left), Brimstone Historical Society board member, and Geoff Russell, Society Vice President and Sasol employee.
