SWLA Convention and Visitors Bureau held a press conference yesterday at the 1911 Historic City Hall in Lake Charles to announce the Southwest Louisiana Christmas Lighting Festival holiday events that will be taking place in Sulphur, Lake Charles, Vinton, Westlake, DeQuincy, Iowa, Moss Bluff, and Starks.
In Sulphur, the festivities planned include the City’s 7th Annual Christmas Under the Oaks celebration with all activities centering around the Henning Cultural Center at 923 Ruth Street on Friday and Saturday, December 5 and 6. Also on the agenda this year is the Balloon Parade, live music, a Preview Gala, the Holiday House shopping event, the Spectacle of Lights, and a Yuletide Promenade! You definitely won’t want to miss anything.
