The Calcasieu Parish School Board will recognize the week of March 30-April 3 as Attendance Awareness Week. The aim of the week is to highlight the importance of school attendance.
During a reception held by Kim Broussard of Child Welfare and Attendance, Mayor Ron LeLeux proclaimed the week as Attendance Awareness Week in the city of Sulphur. Administrators from all over Sulphur attended the event.
