Eastern Star Love Chapter #209 in Sulphur is joining the Soles4Souls campaign that was initiated by Jason Barnes in Lake Charles. The campaign was brought to the Chapter’s attention by Virginia Little, who is the Eastern Star’s Chairman for Soles4Souls.
Eastern Star has voted to join in and try to collect 20,000 pairs of usable shoes for the needy. Please look through your closets and give what you can. You can contact 337-532-8282 and an Eastern Star member will pick up your donation.
Get rid of good used shoes so that this winter some poor soul will have soles on their feet.
Eastern Star will be collecting until November 18 and they want as many pairs as possible. Know that by your help, someone is wearing shoes this winter.
