  • Violence Awareness Month to be observed

  • The official kickoff for Domestic Violence Awareness Month events in this area will be the the Awareness Concert with Wayne Dylan and Black Tie Affair. It is a free concert with food and fun to be held in Veteran's Park in Lake Charles, on Sept. 29, from 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
