  • Sulphur Police Chief Chris Abrahams reported that on January 27, 2009, officers of the Sulphur Police Department investigated three traffic accidents resulting in no injuries and issued 22 traffic citations.
    Officers also responded to several other incidents resulting in nine arrests.
    ARRESTS:
    Treasure Victory Kerr, 21, of Wayside Drive, Westlake was arrested and booked into the Sulphur City Jail for simple possession of marijuana, use of CDS in the presence of a minor, illegal us of US currency and possession of drug paraphernalia.
    Harley Wayne Guillory, 26, of Ribbeck Avenue, Moss Bluff was arrested and booked into the Sulphur City Jail for simple possession of marijuana, possession of legend drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia, use of CDS in the presence of a minor and an outstanding warrant.
    Jimmy Kirk Loveless, 26, of C Street, Cameron was arrested and booked into the Sulphur City Jail for simple possession of CDS schedule 1 and possession of drug paraphernalia.
    Dustin Jacob Courville, 25, of Sherman Houston, Kinder was arrested and booked into the Sulphur City Jail for carrying an illegal weapon, possession of cocaine with intent, illegal us of US currency, possession and distribution of CDS schedule IV type drugs, possession with intent to distribute and use of  CDS in the presence of a minor.
    Jason Michael Courville, 22, of Royal Oak Lane, Sulphur was arrested and booked into the Sulphur City Jail for simple possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, use of CDS in the presence of a minor, illegal us of US currency, and possession of CDS schedule II drugs.
    Chiara Ann Edwards, 22, of Royal Oak Lane, Sulphur was arrested and booked into the Sulphur City Jail for simple possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
    Lisa Ann Edwards, 22, of Royal Oak Lane, Sulphur was arrested and booked into the Sulphur City Jail for simple possession of marijuana.
    Patrick C. Murray, 40, of Hwy 389, Dequincy was arrested and booked into the Sulphur City Jail for passing on shoulder, driving while under suspension and no proof of insurance.
    Mitchell L. Gearen, 48, of Kites Landing, Florien, LA was arrested and booked into the Sulphur City Jail for outstanding warrants for disturbing the peace by public intoxication, display of plates and contempt of court.
